Current box dye hair brands lack a premium at-home dye experience and have a limited variety of professional dyes in department stores. The target audience for box dyes on the market cater to middle aged or older women which is not the audience interested in box dye.

Chromatix provides a professional quality at-home dye job on a budget that targets a younger audience. The goal was to create branding that gravitates towards a more modern and eye catching look that would separate itself from the competitors on the shelf.
The Chromatix color kiosk is your go-to stop for salon quality, at-home hair dye. A 24-hour vending machine service makes our product more accessible and convenient for those with a busy schedule or just looking to have some fun with color at 2am. The Chromatix kiosk has a log in feature that saves your hair and purchase history after use.
The color wheel feature allows the user to choose between a range of colors not offered by traditional box hair dye brands. Change the hue, saturation and lightness to find the best match to the users current hair color. After choosing the current hair color, the next page will show another color wheel in which the user chooses a new Chromatix hair color. The bubbles to the right will appear as the user explores colors, showing the most accurate color application based on the users hair history and new chosen color. This ensures the customer knows exactly how the final color will apply.
After adding all the desired items to your cart, a final purchase summary will appear. Tap to pay and watch your hand-picked color fill and dispense below in a classic vending machine style. We save the users information and purchase history for next time so they don’t have to.
